The annual Anaheim University Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Residential sesion was held from Thursday, October 25th to Sunday, October 28th, 2007 in Irvine, California co-hosted by Anaheim University and Alliant International University. The residential session which was originally scheduled to be held at AIU's San Diego campus was moved to the AIU Satellite classrooms in Irvine, California due to the wildfires in the San Diego area.
During the four-days Anaheim University MA TESOL students and the globally acclaimed faculty of Anaheim University's Graduate School of Education flew in to Irvine to study along with students of Alliant International University's TESOL doctoral program.
Students had the option of attending either a 4-day workshop in Curriculum Development or in Research Methods in Language Learning and an open seminar featuring Anaheim University Professors Dr. David Nunan, Dr. Rod Ellis and Dr. Kathleen Bailey was held on Saturday afternoon.
On Saturday night AU and AIU students and faculty had the opportunity to mingle in a casual setting and all joined together to celebrate Dr. David Nunan's recent birthday.
